A new kind of baby community is landing this summer – built by mamas, to make young parents’ lives easier and help them find trusted products for their little ones (and for mamas too).

Meet Ziko Baby.

Some of you are likely in one of their multiple WeChat groups. Since 2017, they’ve been quietly doing the same thing: gathering good people around good products, with quality always front of mind.

Ziko Baby is the natural next chapter. As the community grew, the team asked the mamas among them one simple question: what’s missing? Then they went sourcing – starting with the tried-and-tested products they already used with their own babies.

The result: a curated collection moms can rely on – French diapers, healthy snacks and meals, imported juices, essentials for newborns and mamas, everything big and small a baby needs.

And just like in every Zikoland group, each product comes with a daily flash-sale price.

After months of preparation and trials (see the community feedback above!), Ziko Baby officially launches on June 16 at 2pm in the Ziko Baby WeChat group, with its first flash sale of the day.

Expect essentials covering every stage from 0 to 4 years.

The winter of 2025 deepens, Taikoo Li Chengdu weaves a creative and childlike wonder into the city downtown, building an emotional energy zone where joy can converge, flow, and resonate. For this installation, Taikoo Li Chengdu has commissioned architect Li Han to create five original architectural structures inspired by local architecture, culture, and lifestyle motifs: the “Hotpot Tower”, “Teapot Tower”, “Mahjong Tower”, “Sichuan Opera Stage”, and “Watchtower Diving Platform”, vividly interpreting five iconic scenes of living in Chengdu.

Winding tracks meander through the structures, where small balls roll along – sometimes fast, sometimes slow – as if threading together joys of everyday life. As the balls roll on, the joyfulness gets together and spreads around to generate a growing “kinetic joy” that culminates in a massive joyous energy zone.

Public Libraries are also good places to find English language books. Both Sichuan Library and Chengdu public Library have collections of foreign language books on their shelves. You can bring your passport or residence permit and register for library access to read and borrow books. Bibliographic search is also available online before you go to either library to find your book, although the Chengdu Public Library is only in Chinese. You’ll find the foreign bookshelves on the 5th floor of both libraries.

Taikoo Li Chengdu Tenth Anniversary Celebration

Taikoo Li Chengdu was finished ten years ago, and really changed the dynamic of the city. It has quickly become the key destination for luxury and lifestyle shops, bars and restaurants in Chengdu. To commemorate this milestone, Taikoo Li Chengdu curated a thematic exhibition “Your incredible Moments” set inside a ten-meter-tall pavilion. Viewed from above, the pavilion’s architectural framework and heritage wall form a figure of “10” that represents Taikoo Li Chengdu’s decade long journey and resembles a vessel that holds memories, emotions,and imagination. Crafted from reclaimed wood beams of tradltional western Sichuan residences,the pavilion fuses tradtion wth innovation, symbolizing a future of strength and vitality.

On the ground floor of the pavilion, Taikoo Li Chengdu calaborated with illustrator Zhou Yinyin to create ten multi-layered illustrations; Enlightening, Déjà vu, Indulging, Free Will, At Ease, Falling-in-love, Flow, Healing, Vibration,and Togethernes, These illustrations depict ten profound feelings and emotions, each known as “Shi (10) Fen” a homophonic expression in Chinese that signifies both a moment in time and the idea of perfection.

These moments embody the spirt of Taikoo Li Chengdu , going beyond a retail destinaton to create an urban public space where inspiration flows, emotions resonate,and minds connect. The second level of the pavilion unfolds like a scroll painting. During the day, it reveals ever-changing scenes ofthe four seasons, symbolizing the flow of time over ten years. As night falls, the imagery transforms into a futuristic universe, sparking endless imagination and the pursuit of new horizons.

Talkoo Li Chengdu has consistently embraced originality into placemaking, merging imagination and creativity to form a unique Chengdu urban experience.This experience is also a culmination of countless personal moments shared by every visitor. We aspire to create many more “lncredible Moments” together in the next decade and beyond.

Talkoo Li Chengdu has aptly named the exhibition “好9好久”. The initial “好” refers to “大吉” (big luck), the numeral “9” represents the 9th anniversary; and “好久’ stands for “great and ancient”, which perfectly resonates with this sentiment.

This exhibition is inspired by the 9-year journey of Taikoo Li Chengdu and has customized “fermentation laboratory”, through a unique concept of plant fragrance blending selecting natural herbs and oriental tea leaves are selected. After undergoing a two-stage light fermentation process and varying durations, nine different alcoholic strengths and flavors of sparking tea wine are crafted, ranging from refreshing sweetness to rich mellowness, layer by layer. People can taste the sparkling tea wines as a time-honored gift from a 9 years journey.

Allegro is a term used in music to describe a lively tempo, often indicates a cheerful and energetic character in a musical composition.

As an active explorer in the creation of urban public space, Taikoo Li Chengdu once again tries to break the traditional boundaries of physical space and create a more three-dimensional multi-sensory scene to establish with consumers deeper spiritual resonance.

Visitors can experience the artwork at Taikoo Li’s central Temple Plaza 漫广场 until January 4th, daily from 10am until 10:30pm.

快板(意大利语 Allegro):在音乐中表示速度和感情的标记，每分钟演奏约120至168个节拍，同时带有「欢乐」的含义。
