The Bengals and Colts have announced their inactives for Week 1 , and it features a pair of starters for Indianapolis, while Cincinnati has everyone healthy enough to play sans Cody Core. Here is a look at the Bengals inactives for the first game of the 2018 season:WR Cody CoreOL Cedric OgbuehiWR Auden TateDT Josh Tupou LB Malik JeffersonOL Christian WestermanRB Mark WaltonIt’s a bit surprising to see Cedric Ogbuehi is inactive, but then again, he’s easily one of the 4-5 worst players on this roster. The Bengals are better off seeing what Bobby Hart can do at right tackle. The only injured player was Cody Core, who was doubtful to play due to a back injury. He did return to practice last week Womens Joe Mixon Jersey , but with the Bengals having a quick turnaround before facing Baltimore on Thursday, Core is probably going to be inactive for at least the first two games of 2018. Auden Tate was the most interesting name to watch for. The rookie receiver has a lot of talent and is a nice red-zone target, but because he doesn’t offer much on special teams, he’s going to be inactive a lot as a rookie, including today. You’ll notice Vontaze Burfict isn’t on here. He’s currently serving a four-game suspension and doesn’t count toward the 53-man roster , thus he doesn’t count as one of he seven inactives the Bengals must declare. Here is a look at the Colts inactives:OT Anthony Castonzo RB Marlon MackOT Denzelle Good WR Marcus JohnsonTE Ryan HewittDT Hassan Ridgeway OT Le’Raven Clark The big name for the Colts was Anthony Castonzo. He’s still recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in the preseason and was highly questionable for Week 1 after being limited throughout the practice week. This is a major loss for the Colts’ offensive line. Making matters worse is backup lineman Denzelle Good has already been ruled out with a knee/wrist injury. This is shaping up to be a game the Bengals’ front seven should dominate, and they’ll need to for Cincinnati to come out of Indy with a 1-0 record.Another player who was listed as questionable was running back Marlon Mack. He’s easily the best back on this roster, not to mention the kind of dual-threat back that Cincinnati struggles to defend.Shawn Williams gives big thank you hug to Bengals MVP Clayton Fejedelem With 3 minutes and 10 seconds remaining in the first quarter of the Bengals vs. Colts Week 1 game, starting safety Shawn Williams was ejected from the game due to an unnecessary hit on Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck.In came Clayton Fejedelem, the Bengals’ special teams ace , to replace him. That wasn’t really good news for the Bengals at the time, but it turned into a major blessing. With the Colts charging down the field attempting to take back the lead with less than one minute remaining in the game, Fejedelem forced a fumble, recovered it and ran it EIGHTY THREE YARDS back for the Bengals touchdown. It was as exciting of a moment as you can see in a Week 1 game. It ensured the Bengals’ win and got the team to 1-0. The backup safety displayed some quick thinking, impressive playmaking and was set on winning the Bengals that game. And to think Authentic A.J. Green Jersey , if Williams wasn’t ejected, Fejedelem likely would not have been in the game at the time of the play. After the game was over, Williams was quick to greet his position mate outside of the locker room and thank him for his service. Williams had been watching the game nearby the locker room after getting ejected.Fejedelem is the Bengals’ Week 1 MVP.Let’s all thank him together.
