The exhibition primarily features Cretaceous dinosaur fossils discovered in Henan. It covers a different period from the museum’s existing permanent dinosaur exhibition. No fewer than 55 pieces or sets of dinosaur fossils, models, and relevant exhibits across various categories are presented.

Based on Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel, Le Fantôme de L’Opéra, The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a mysterious masked figure who lurks beneath the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who inhabit it. He falls madly in love with a young soprano, Christine Daaé, and devotes himself to nurturing her extraordinary talents, employing all of the devious methods at his command.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s acclaimed musical premiered at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End on 9 October 1986, and had its Broadway debut at the Majestic Theatre on 26 January 1988, with Michael Crawford as The Phantom and Sarah Brightman as Christine. It has since won over 70 major theatre awards. The soaring score includes Music of the Night, All I Ask of You, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, Masquerade and the iconic title overture. Since opening, The Phantom of the Opera continues to play to full houses in London and was the longest-running show on Broadway when it closed after 35 years in April 2023. It has been seen by more than 160 million people in 46 territories and 193 cities in 21 languages worldwide and is widely considered one of the most spectacular productions of all time.

The 2026 Chengdu Open, a high‑profile ATP 250 tournament, runs from September 22 to 29 at Sichuan International Tennis Centre and marks the official start of tennis’ China season. As western China’s leading professional tennis event, it has unveiled an exciting initial player lineup.

The entry list is set, with Valentin Vacherot, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Alejandro Tabilo leading a strong ATP 250 field. The hard-court tournament runs September 23-29 and features a 28-player singles draw with $1,210,115 in prize money.

Valentin Vacherot, the historic 2025 Shanghai Masters champion, makes his Chengdu debut after climbing into the world’s top 20. Talented Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina also features for his first Chengdu appearance, bringing his dynamic, crowd‑pleasing playing style. Chinese rising star Shang Juncheng returns for his third Chengdu Open visit. This city was where he claimed his maiden ATP title in 2024, and he aims for another strong run on his lucky hunting ground. Fans can look forward to compelling hard‑court matches all week long.
