Sept. 17-23: 2025 ATP Tennis Chengdu Open
This popular event is celebrating the seventh edition with an enhanced prize fund of $1,000,000+ making it the richest 250 level tournament in China. As in previous years, the Chengdu Open will bring together some of the world’s best players, local Chinese stars, as well as iconic names from the tennis world.
Chengdu Open 2025 will feature top-ranked players from around the world, including world No. 5 Jack Draper, defending champion Shang Juncheng, and Olympic Games Paris 2024 bronze medalist Lorenzo Musetti, alongside famous Chinese players and iconic figures from the tennis world.
“Our aim with the Chengdu Open is to provide fans with entertainment and an enjoyable, memorable experience,” Tournament Director Luiz Carvalho from IMG said.
As part of the Chengdu Open’s vibrant community engagement program, the event will organise exciting interactive activities for spectators. These include inviting families to experience live matches together, recruiting young fans as ‘Little Ball Kids’ to escort tennis stars onto the court, and offering a range of activities where the public can interact with and meet their favourite tennis stars.
