Attractions
Mountains, sea of clouds, cattle, sea of flowers, alpine meadows, mottled Qiang old village relics, 10-kilometer winding mountain roads with original ecology and starry sky, all these beautiful elements can be found here — Jiuzitun Ancient Qiang Village, also favorably called “Machu Picchu in Sichuan” by some travelers.It is surrounded by mountains and has a wide view of alpine meadows. The entire village is like an ancient castle on a cliff. The clouds here are within reach, and the overlapping peaks in the distance make up a beautiful picture. No one knows how the Qiang people traveled here through mountains and rivers from north to south 5,000 years ago, but those stories are still in ruins.——————————————————————————————
Itinerary
07:30 Meet at Exit C, Metro Line 2, Baiguolin and the bus will leave at 07:40 on dot.07:40-11:00 With our pulses racing, we are loaded into a chartered van for a drive down to Xuecheng in Li County first and then transfer with local van to Jiuzi Village, and get ready to hike. Note: Due to the narrow road condition, a transfer with a local van at your own expense is necessary.11:00-12:30 Hike along the country road and natural meadow path for 3.5 km to reach a sightseeing platform, exploring the alpine meadow scenery.12:30-13:00 Lunchtime! We’ll have lunch together and please prepare your own packed lunchbox.13:00-14:30 After lunch, we’ll have more time to explore the ancient Qiang village. You can either stay around the meadow to take beautiful pictures or continue to hike a bit further.14:30-16:30 Follow the same way to get back.16:30-19:30 Get back to Chengdu.The above itinerary is only for reference purposes, and the actual schedule may be adjusted due to real-time weather, participants and other factors. Cost includes:
1. Transportation: return air-conditioned chartered tour bus including toll fee, parking fee and the driver’s lunch allowance
2. Guide: the bilingual guides will accompany and assist during the whole journey

4. Insurance: outdoor insurance*for people whose current habitual residence is China only

Cost does not include:
1. Meal: prepare your own lunchbox and snacks
2. Transfer: 35 RMB/pp for local transfer between Xuecheng and the starting point of the hike which is obligatory
3. Consumption: any personal consumption not mentioned in the itinerary
