2024-2025 Parent Academy

Our newly designed Parent Academy will play a vital role in connecting the school with Léman families and supporting students on their path to success. This year, we are excited to launch our Parent Academy early in September. This new school year, we will host 10 Parent Academy events which will be supplemented with Parent “Tea and Chats” and “Parent Information” sessions.  
The Parent Academy will run until the 5th May 2025. Topics covered will include high quality teaching and learning; working together to stop bullying; how children learn to read and write; the importance of assessment and feedback for learning in primary and secondary schools; and keeping children safe online, plus many more.September 18th topic – Prevention in Action: Stopping Bullying Together
Parent Academy sessions are interactive learning sessions, where parents will engage with our speakers to dig deeper into the topic. They will include hands-on learning opportunities and are very much 2-way sessions between home and school. 
Here is a detailed overview of the schedule of Parent Academy events for this school year for your reference: 
We invite every parent to actively participate in our programmes so that we can work hand in hand to promote the growth of our students! We also welcome parents from outside the school to actively register for our Parent Academy. As seats are limited, please complete and submit your registration as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the programme or the enrolment process, please feel free to contact our Admissions or Homeroom teachers and we will be glad to assist you.
Let’s start a new chapter of promoting children’s all-round development and deepening home-school co-operation together in the Parent Academy in the new school year!

In addition to our Parent Academy sessions, we invite parents to join us for a “Tea and Chat.” These are informal group sessions where parents can ask questions and get to know our academic team more closely. There will be tea and refreshments served during these events and they offer a fantastic intimate opportunity for informal questions and answers.

Lastly, we also have a schedule for parent information sessions. These are sessions in which our team will present specific information and have time for questions related to the subject towards the end. These sessions are less interactive and will be more 1 way- divulging key information.
