Since 2019, the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China has been hosting the UK Alumni Mixer in both Chongqing and Chengdu, gradually establishing it as one of the most influential annual events for the UK alumni community. This gathering not only attracts a large number of outstanding UK alumni but also serves as an important platform connecting returnee talents, local businesses, and the British-Chinese community. The 2026 UK Alumni Gathering is coming to Chengdu! Join us on Friday, 3rd April at Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu for an evening themed “Dream a Dream” — where comfort meets connection. Dress in your own style and come ready to unwind. Whether you graduated last year or decades ago, if you’ve ever studied in the UK, this night is for you. Expect familiar faces, great conversations, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll have signature drinks, fun games, and plenty of stories to share — from all-night study sessions to late-night kitchen chats.
