Dec.13: Spittoon Connect: Intercity Poetry Slam!

Geographical distance is a meaningless number of kilometers in today’s digital world and nothing embodies this more than a Spittoon Connect event. Chengdu’s first Spittoon Connect is an intercity poetry slam, which with the aid of technology, will connect our poets and audience in Chengdu with those in the Spittoon Collective’s founding city, Beijing.

Connected by a livestreamed video feed, slam poets from both cities will go head to head in a single heavy-hitting round of competition. The night’s top three performers are chosen by an audience vote. Will Chengdu poets win the prize of having their poetry featured on the Spittoon Collective’s online platform? That’s in your hands.
