“Run to East” is composed of a City Orienteering Competition and a “Hot Wave Electronic Music Festival”, both taking place on December 31st. The event is set to have 5000+ people gather at Dongjiaojiyi, where they will work together in groups of 5 to fulfill various tasks dotted around city “hotspots”. This event is focused on blurring sports, music, culture and sightseeing.
The Electronic Music Festival will bring in the New Year with performances emphasising trendy cultural interchange.
This will be the second Run to East event after 2017 kicked these activities off in Chengdu.
