2026 Chengdu Marathon
Over the past eight years (not counting COVID cancellations), the Chengdu Marathon has attracted around 265,000 runners, becoming an emerging power in the marathon race series in China.
The 2026 marathon is scheduled for October 25, 2026, with registration open June 10–24, 2026. As is the case every year, luck has to be on your side, because a lottery system will decide who can take part. If you register, and pay, but are not chosen, entry fees will be fully refunded.

Half marathon (21.1km): 10,000 Runners

Registration starts at 10am on June 10th.
Registration ends at 6pm on June 24th.
The results of the lottery will be announced at the end of July (exact date TBC).

It is easier to sign-up/ login via a computer (rather than on your phone), selected the English version, fill out all information and the questionnaire, and finally proceed to payment
For the question “是否加入特跑族” it is recommended to select 是 (you might win a free entry).

– Start: Jinsha Site Museum
– Half marathon finish: Sichuan University Museum
– Full marathon finish: New International Exhibition and Convention Center (Century City).
Two years ago there a few changes were made compared to previous years, adding city landmarks and landscapes such as Tianfu Panda Tower and Xinhua Park. This year should be the exact same route as last year – below the 2024 route for your reference.
