Chengdu Europe Culture Season—Film Week
From July 4 to 13, the highly anticipated 2025 Chengdu Europe Culture Season Film Week will be held at Emperor Cinemas Chengdu Ufun. Those who love cinematic arts and European cultural heritage certainly cannot miss this ten-day celebration of European cinema.
It is worth mentioning that this year’s film week features the largest number of films, the widest range of countries represented, and the longest screening duration in history. The film week will showcase ten films from eight countries: Ireland, Germany, France, Belgium, Finland, the Netherlands, Greece, and Italy.
Among them are films spanning diverse genres and themes: Listen emphasizes humanitarian themes; Tarrac presents an inspiring sports drama; the documentary Tunturin Tarina captures Arctic wilderness and rare species through cutting-edge cinematography; Mon Crime is a comedy starring the acclaimed French actress Isabelle Huppert; the animated film Sirocco et le Royaume des courants d’air was involved in “SIFF Animations” at the 26th Shanghai International Film Festival; C’è Ancora Domani! is known as Italy’s 2023 box office champion.
