It’s got nothing to do with pickles – it’s a sport! It has been described as a combination of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Picture a small plastic ball soaring through the air that you need to bat back to your partner, or partners. This game was created during the summer of 1965 on Bainbridge Island – a short ferry ride from Seattle, WA. The original purpose of the game was to provide a sport for the entire family. You might find it easy, you might find it difficult, but you’re sure to find it fun!匹克球（pickleball）
Spring is in the air and it’s time to get active and enjoy outdoor sports. Mark your calendar for the first St. Patrick’s-themed pickleball event of AmCham China Southwest Chapter. Get you “green on” to experience a delicious brunch, an exciting game and a fancy venue. Bring your friends of all ages.
