Chengdu International School (CDIS) recently celebrated its 25th anniversary as the first international school for foreign students to operate in Chengdu. Part of our rich history includes developing a vibrant high school theatre program. In the past, our drama department has produced a spectrum of plays including classics such as The Wizard of Oz, Little Women, Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, and many others.
The CDIS Theater Department
The CDIS theatre department is excited to open its doors once again to the Chengdu public as it presents a play based on Lewis Carrol’s classic book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
Alice in Wonderland is a timeless fantasy that has transcended generations, languages, and cultures. As we follow Alice and the White Rabbit through the rabbit hole, we meet a cast of curious characters that take us on a wild ride through Wonderland.
Fun for all ages, this year’s production will have 4 performances, including an 11:00 am matinee geared towards younger children.
