Nov. 28: Alan Walker World Tour in Chengdu
• Recently Chengdu lept back from its post-pandemic funk – with a bang, as the world famous Westlife performed on a tiny stage in the city’s huge Phoenix stadium.
• We’re also hearing whispers about a OneRepublic gig in January, but in the meantime we’re busy booking tickets for the world famous Dj Alan Walker – who will perform in Chengdu on November 28.
• Now the hard part: it will be very tough to get tickets for these gigs (as you might have stiff competition with 22 million inhabitants and already 15000+ people pre-registered in meanwhile), and if you want to get lucky, you will likely need the help of a Chinese friend.

How to (try to) Get Tickets?
The concert seem to work with a lottery system: you ‘pre-reserve’ with a few clicks, and cross your fingers you’ll be one of the lucky few ones to actually get the tickets.
You’d need to pre-reserve on the 大麦 ticket platform – yes, its all in Chinese – ask a Chinese friend, who should know more. Copy 大麦 (the name of the platform), paste them in your Mini-Program search bar, find the right gig and register!

Chances to get tickets are pretty slim, with almost 14,000 already pre-registered on the Damai 大麦 ticket platform at the time of publishing, topping the list of upcoming gigs in Chengdu.
We don’t yet know when the lucky people that win the lottery system – will be able notified.
Pro tip: Die-hard fans can also pre-register for the upcoming Wuhan, Foshan, Shenzhen or Shanghai shows.
