Carpark Cafe
With its unique retro decor that harkens back to American car park culture, the aptly named CARPARK is adorned with an assortment of car park themed memorabilia and American trinkets, for those looking for a bit of blast to the past. A popular spot with Chinese “internet celebrities” and “influencers”, the cafe is a good spot to get a glimpse of Chinese wanghong culture and snap a few photos and selfies – if that’s your thing. After dark, the shop also serves cocktails, for those that are alcoholically inclined. In terms of refreshments, we recommend their selection of pour over coffee, as well as their creative coffee-based drinks such as the Pink Thunderbird – an espresso based drink with elderflower, grapefruit, and tonic water.
