Jiaozi Financial Museum
交子金融博物馆
Over a thousand years ago, the world’s earliest paper money, called jiaozi, was born in Chengdu, preceding the European banknotes by over 600 years. Once the most prosperous site in Chengdu, the museum brings to reality the prosperity of ancient times with the various eye-opening versions of ancient currencies.
