BritCham SW 2025 Annual General Meeting

Mark your calendars for the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China’s 2025 Annual General Meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 17th. The meeting will run from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Bitiege The Temple House Chengdu. This important annual gathering is open to all current members of BritCham Southwest China, join us to reflect on the past year’s achievements, explore plans for the future, and vote for the incoming Executive Committee.

What is the Annual General Meeting?
The AGM takes place each year to review the past year’s performance, elect the incoming Executive Committee and consider any other business issues raised prior to the meeting.

AGM Agenda
The AGM is the Chamber’s annual election event. This year’s agenda will include:
1. Year in Review
2. Chair’s Report
3. Treasurer’s Report
4. Election of the Executive Committee for the coming year

Who can attend the AGM?
Any employee from any of our member companies can attend – it is fine to have multiple attendees from one company attending. Individual members may also attend but may not vote. Non-members may not attend!
(Non-members and members alike are encouraged to join us for BritCham Summer Drinks, which will take place at the same venue right after the AGM (6.30pm – 9pm) and give the opportunity for everyone to “Meet the committee”)

What is the Executive Committee?
The Executive Committee (ExCo) serves as the governing board of the BritCham SW. Comprising 10 elected members, the ExCo meets regularly to oversee the Chamber’s strategic direction, financial management, and operational activities.The BritCham SW China Executive Committee 2025 Nominations will close on THURSDAY 3rd of July.Tickets and registration

Representatives of BritCham member companies may cast votes in-person at the AGM. The results will be announced one week after the AGM.
