Chun You is back, 17th – 18th April 2021!

Established in 2013, Chun You is a music-based, experiential, party-style festival held every year on the third weekend of April. Having hosted seven consecutive years of amazing local bands, musicians, DJs and creative artists, Chun You is the most essential annual gathering for independent music and youth culture in Chengdu.

Featuring a massive line-up of local bands, independent musicians and guest artists from around China, the Chun You Stage is the beating heart of the festival. Diverse sounds, different roots, genre-fluid live energy – a beautiful musical collision and cultural exchange.

From late-night dancefloor heaters to spaced-out, sun-baked soothsaying, the Electronic Stage will be pumping for 42 hours non-stop, with some of your favourite selectors and live musicians from Chengdu and beyond. Let the beat control your mind.

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and absorb the organic vibes of the Imagination Stage. Ambient, psychedelic and downtempo. Relax, take a deep breath, and enjoy the ride.

Morning Bar lives on at the Morning Stage! Bringing together representative DJs from Chengdu clubs, plus friends of Chun You.

In addition to the four music stages, Chun You will feature a number of interesting exhibitions and pop-up zones for you to explore throughout the weekend!

CAMPLAYA is a mash-up of CAMP and PLAYA. The concept is a collision of ideas from three good friends: combining a wealth of outdoor experiences to the Chun You campsite. Warm like a kerosene lamp in the forest, wild with creativity and environmental connectivity.

Wild Calling is an outdoor lifestyle platform born in Chengdu that focuses on camping experience, outdoor adventure, event planning and video documentation, using “wilderness” as a springboard to integrate with music, art, environmental protection, education and lifestyle!
