The theme for this month is “Startup Weekend Bootcamp”.
After the guest speaker panel we will hold an open “5 minute pitch” for those who want to share the businesses they are currently working on or get feedback on their ideas.
This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.

1. Erik Ackner.
Co-Founder UrTurn
Erik is a creative organization talent from Germany who enjoys creating the right fit for people or uniting organizations to achieve different goals together at events. With more than 10 years’ experience in organizing, design, communication and a MA double-degree in Chinese-European Business and Economy, he proofed this already by helping to bring global events such as the Fête de la Musique, Startup Weekend or the Global Citizen Festival to Chengdu. As an organizer and a DJ, he acts as a hub for talents such as musicians, dancers, organizers, entrepreneurs or educators in Chengdu. Future plans include bringing other large events to Chengdu such as a real Christmas Market, a farm festival and building an active fitness platform in Chengdu.
2. Sarah Deng.
Manager of KrSpace Chengdu
Sarah is a serial entrepreneur who currently works as Manager of KrSpace Chengdu. KrSpace, as a subsidiary of 36KR, provides co-working space and add-value services to small to medium startups. KrSpace has launched in over 11 cities. KrSpace Chengdu will be ready in October eighth.
Before joining KrSpace in 2015, Sarah had launched her mHealth startup BEACON DOCTOR as founder and CEO. The startup was inspired while Sarah was educated at Draper University, a human-focused incubator in Silicon Vally. Her startup had received seed fund from Sparklabs Capital.
3. Quiz Zhu
Quiz is a internet, security and information technoledge expert with 10+ years of exp. in the industry. Who also has a Entrepreneur ship sprit in practice of co-founding of ringdoll.com, occywall.com and Aruba Mobile Game Studio. Now he works as an Senior Data Visualization Engineer in Hansigh.com leading the data visualization team with the best security data visualization engineers in China, helped clients like Ministry of Public Security of China , China Merchants Back, facing the chanllenge from hackers from around the world. He is also the most active tech community oganizer in Chengdu helped organized Google Developer Group Chengdu, Chengdu Web Tech Meetup, Chengdu Linux Users Group. Now he is pasionate on being the first batch of Block Chain tech Evangelists in Chengdu and planning to build a Block Chain Tech Allience in Chengdu.
