Chengdu to Host 4th Startup Weekend in November
Startup Weekend Chengdu will connect local entrepreneurs and startup enthusiasts to share ideas and launch companies
Startup Weekend Chengdu is an event designed to connect local entrepreneurs, developers, designers and startup enthusiasts with mentors and resources. Its 4th edition event will be held November 11-13 at Salmonist co-working space, centrally located in Chengdu’s South. Throughout the course of this 54-hour event, attendees will share ideas, form teams, and launch startups.
The organization team is excited to see the types of ideas that will come from a creative city like this. Being our fourth event, we are looking forward to bringing together different communities, both local and foreign, to celebrate, encourage, and support startup culture in Chengdu.
Here’s how it works:
Friday– Participants pitch their best product ideas in 60 seconds, and try and find teams to build them
Saturday– Teams start building, mentors interact with teams to coach them and give them guidance.
Sunday– Building and testing continues, to create a minimum viable product ready for presentation. Presentation to judges and assessment. Closing ceremony
Startup veterans and mentors will be on hand throughout the weekend to provide expertise and give talks on their experiences in the fast-paced world of technology startups.
Startup Weekend Chengdu will be held on November 11-13th 2016 at Salmonist co-working space. Please register online, and pay to reserve your space. We are planning for approximately 80 attendees.
