The Chengdu Museum will showcase eight beautiful replicas of the murals and sculptures from the Mogao caves until Mar 31, 2017. The exhibit is free and will feature art and relics from the Silk Road – as a part of the Silk Road celebration currently going on to highlight Chengdu’s connection with the ancient route. From the eight duplicated caves at the museum, visitors can see the style changing of the caves from the Northern and Southern Dynasties (420-589) and the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Opening Hours: 09:00-17:00 Tuesday through Sunday.
