9.8 Finding Creative&Performative Children/Families
Luxelakes will host the 2025 Fish Harvest Festival from Sept 19–21, with a parade on the 20th.
The Luxelakes bird-friendly community development group still has three open spots (any age—even adults) to join the parade under the theme “Birds & Humans Coexisting on the Same Land.” (Project lead will provide bird species or ecosystem roles for participants to choose from.)
Kids/families can perform and DIY their own costumes with recyclable materials like cardboard, bottles, etc., or join only as an artist or performer. Support is provided for transport and materials (20 RMB for performing, 80 RMB per costume). Certificates with the Luxelakes foundation’s stamp are also available.
