This year, the fourth edition of the festival is organised in collaboration with Chengdu Musical Fun Operations Management Co. ltd and will be held for the first time in the hear of the city in Parc Wangjiang.
7 artists from the French and Chinese music scene who are at the forefront of their respective current music scenes. They will be performing their latest music on Saturday 22 June from 4pm to 9pm.
Below we have given you an introduction to the artists who will be performing this year!
CY (China)
CY is an artist who is signed with OP1 Production studio. She originates from the city of Mianyang, Sichuan. CY began learning about hip hop music from as early as 3 years old! At 14 years old she emerged on the Chinese national hip hop scene at Battle MC. CY has already collaborated with a number of musicians such as working closely with the french artist ReamD. Followed by thousands of fans on Douyin, she is one of the most popular and talented female rappers in China today.
Long travel (China)
This alternative rock group that originated in chengdu was formed in 2017. It features songwriter and signer Nai wen, Li Baoyang on guitar, A Qi on bass and Hang zi on drums. The world of Long travel is known as Shoegazing. It is sure that this years Fete de la musique will be eclectic.
Annaki (China)
Formed in 2016, this rock group is composed of Singer and keyboard player Lizhi, Mangguo on guitar, Zhang Rui on drums and Zhang Xiang on bass. This group originates from Chengdu, and has become a local hit within the independent scene. 
Superjava (French)
Coming from all corners of the globe, this is another electro pop group which has electrified their fans. Be sure to catch their new sound at this years Fete de la Musique.
Sayan x Skillz (French)
This is this duo’s first visit of China, Skillz is known as the master of scratch having been triple champion of the world at DMC 2018. With Sayan, who has travelled the world with his electric music. They have combined to bring you Sayan x Skillz.
Mhend (French)
Originally from Strasbourg, this young composer has made a name for himself here in chengdu over the past few months. Make sure to check him out
Lewis of Man (French)
Lewis of Man is a master of electronic music, who has the entire world talking about him at the moment. Having collaborated with Lana Del Rey and several other well known artists including Rejjie Snow and the french group Vendredi sur mer. It is impossible to describe his style, who is influenced from a whole different range of genres.
