Welcome to Pacific Bloom: a showcase of experimental sounds from the South Pacific, featuring two artists from Aotearoa, New Zealand.

花溪Flowerstream are a duo from Aotearoa, New Zealand that perform using guzheng and drums. Hailing from the kaleidoscopic musical landscape of Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), 花溪 Flowerstream combine their diverse cultural backgrounds into a mesmerizing musical fusion which has been described as psychedelic, doom jazz, trip hop, hip hop, dream pop and punk.
Kaishandao is a Chengdu-based musician and co-founder of Chengdu Community Radio. She will perform a live set of electronics and narratives, blending downtempo, house and post-punk with spoken word and op-shop cassettes.
