望江楼公园
It is renowned for the Xue Tao Well, which commemorates the Tang Dynasty poetess Xue Tao (about A.D.768-832), the Chongli Pavilion (Wangjiang Pavilion) built in 1889, and the exotic bamboos. Xue Tao loved bamboos all her life, so her descendants planted greenbamboos all over the place. With over 400 types of bamboos,the park is recognized as China’s bamboo gene pool”
