About Anshun Bridge
Anshun Bridge (安顺廊桥) is one of Chengdu’s best-known landmarks and one of the city’s most photographed bridges. Located on the Jinjiang River in Jinjiang District, the bridge is famous for its traditional Chinese architecture and stunning golden lights after sunset. Originally rebuilt in 2003, it has become a favourite spot for sightseeing, photography and evening walks.
During the day, visitors can admire the bridge’s elegant design and detailed carvings. In addition, traditional Chinese motifs such as plum blossoms, orchids, bamboo and chrysanthemums decorate the bridge. These four plants represent strength, elegance and resilience in Chinese culture.
As night falls, Anshun Bridge is beautifully illuminated, and its golden lights reflect across the Jinjiang River. Therefore, it has become one of Chengdu’s most popular places to enjoy the city’s night scenery. Many visitors also combine their trip with the Jinjiang River Boat Tours, which provide spectacular views of the bridge from the water.
In addition, the bridge is home to The Bridge Bar & Restaurant, which combines traditional Chinese architecture with modern dining. Meanwhile, the outdoor terrace on the upper floor offers panoramic views of the Jinjiang River and the surrounding skyline.
