Summer is the season of festivals! Let’s find an excuse to enjoy Chengdu’s heat and celebrate together, dancing to great music with like-minded people. Where? At CapitaMall Tianfu! The Fete de la Musique is back!
That means two full days of local and French bands for you to escape your AC-cooled room and instead burn some calories under the sun.
When? It’s this Saturday and Sunday, June 23 +24! Venue will be CapitaMall Tianfu, which is a few walking minutes from the South Train Station.

Fete de la Musique
Created in 1982, the World Music Day has now spread the happiness throughout five continents, to more than 100 countries with more than 450 participating cities around the world and everyone is shouting the festival’s slogan: “Faites de la musique!”(Let’s enjoy musics!).
Every year the French consulate is inviting great bands from France to join the stage with local artists. This year there is a total of 10 bands, 2 from France and 8 from Chengdu.

We can’t mention it often enough: thanks to all supporters, bands and partners, this event is for free. No Joke!
For the playful ones among us, we are also handing out gimmicks like tatoos, flags, balloons, water guns etc. to have some fun.
We also make sure to capture your special moments and provide plenty photo opportunities.
We are ready, the bands are ready, the weather is ready, basically everything is ready. Now we just need YOU!
If you miss is this year, you will have to wait for another 525600 minutes!! Not fun.

How to get there?
Take the subway line 1 to the South Railway Station and go out from the exit D, then walk 500m south to CapitaMall Tianfu.
