The Chengdu Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall was officially put into operation on December 31, 2023, and it now serves as the permanent venue for Chengdu Symphony Orchestra’s performances. This arrangement makes CSO an independent organization with its own dedicated concert hall, a ground-breaking practice in Sichuan. The site stands out also for its location in the expansive Chengdu Open Air Music Park featuring a unique ecological environment and an appealing forest landscape, making the concert hall a haven for classical music nestling in the forest and a new cultural landmark with a distinctive Chengdu character.
