Tianfu Paradise International Panda Lantern Festival
第55届成都国际熊猫灯会
The “Panda Lantern Festival” originated from the Chengdu Lantern Festival, first held in 1962, making it China’s longest-running city-level lantern festival. This year’s event, themed “Sichuan Lanterns Shine Globally · Dreamy Dong’an Lake,” spans over 330 acres on Xifeng Island, featuring a luminous layout of “Five Zones and One Core”:

- Bustling Chengdu Nights
- Galloping Horses on Shu Roads
- Peach Blossoms of the Ancient Post Town
- Prosperous and Joyful New Year
- Summit of Xifeng Island
The festival showcases more than 40 lantern displays, including four ultra-large installations over 12 meters tall, enhanced with dynamic mechanics, lighting, sound, and visual effects.
In addition to traditional lanterns, the festival integrates POP MART’s trendy creative elements and features two classic IPs licensed by Shanghai Film Group’s SFY—Havoc in Heaven and Panda Department Store.
