The smash-hit French musical “Notre Dame de Paris”, based on the novel of the same name by Victor Hugo, will be staged at Sichuan Grand Theatre Dec.13-15 in Chengdu. Set against the backdrop of Paris in 1482, the musical tells a love tragedy between a young and beautiful gypsy girl named Esmeralda and Quasimodo, the hunchback bell-ringer of Notre Dame.
