为什么我们想做这个活动？
Why we created this event？
在成都，我们遇见了许多中外家庭——

中国孩子想学英语，
却很少有机会和外国小朋友一起玩；
外国孩子想学中文，
却很难真正走进本地小朋友的生活圈。

In Chengdu, we’ve met so many families –

Chinese children who want to learn English
but rarely have the chance to play with international friends;
International children who want to learn Chinese
but struggle to step into local life.

我们想做一场这样的活动：
让中外家庭坐在一起，
让孩子在游戏里自然开口，
让父母在聊天中找到共鸣。

🌲So we created this event:
a space where Chinese and international families sit together,
where children naturally start speaking through games,
and where parents find connection through conversation.

🍃这就是“中外亲子日”的由来——
一个连接，两种语言，零距离。
That’s the idea behind “China-International Family Day.”One connection. Two languages. Zero walls.

我们想帮助更多家庭
在成都找到归属感🏠
让中国孩子因为喜欢上一个外国朋友，而更喜欢学英语；让外国孩子因为交到一个中国朋友，而更愿意说中文。

Chinese children love learning English
because they‘ve made an international friend,
and international children feel excited to speak Chinese
because they’ve found a local buddy.

We want to help more families
in Chengdu build connections and find belonging –
so children have friends,
parents have support,
and this city truly becomes home. 🌱
