The Rotary Cub of Chengdu (RCC) is a not-for-profit organization founded on January 9, 1939 and re-chartered on September 21, 2014. lt is a part of Rotary International, a global charity organization with over 1.2 million members participating through more than 34,000 clubs located in over 200 countries
RCC is a non-political, non-religious club and open to all cultures, races and creeds. We follow the guiding principle of Rotary International, which is“Service Above Self”. Our membership is made up of a diverse group of ex-patriot citizens representing 12 different countries, from a wide variety of educational backgrounds and pursuing various vocations while residing here in Chengdu.
By working together to create awareness of and support for worthy projects in and around Sichuan, we hope to inspire and motivate individuals, businesses, communities and organizations to achieve common goals by working together. This requires us to identify, understand and work with charities and projects that we feel can implement sustainable solutions in areas relating to water, healthcare,education,disease prevention, and community development.
All proceeds will support Xichang Charity Social Services Center in Liangshan.
There will be an exciting evening with a 4 course meal and entertainment. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a summer secret garden.
