Just down the road from Origins Coffee, in the space that used to be Periodic Table, this authentic Mexican casual dining restaurant stands out like a beacon – with neon walls and white brick façade.
This temple of Mexican Kitsch is peppered with day of the dead skills, bunting, and cactuses – and serve up a small, homemade menu of Mexican favorites; tacos, nachos, tostados and quesadillas – with homemade tortillas.
The real draw here is the pocket-sized colorful patio, where you can take a seat behind the white trellises and sink into their extensive cocktail list. The Margaritas and micheladas are to die for.
They also serve up home made horchata and agua de Jamaica – as well classic cocktails and Mexican sodas.
