115 Kilometers from Chengdu, this farm is run by a family that simply want to saves energy. They started in 1990 from planting trees, for example pine, ginko, maples, cherries. Since then, the farm has been steadily growing up from year to year. The main philosophy of the place is to run the farm in accordance with the respect for nature and to spread this idea to people visiting the farm. This year they organized Summer Camp for the kids. Children left computers and cells and experienced contact with nature, learning about it through various types of games and activities.
The farm has one house and currently construction of the other is underway. The Lin’s family wants to attract and share knowledge with international tourists and people living and working permanently in China. It is interesting that the farm in addition to accommodation is able to provide a range of activities during the day, like cooking traditional Sichuan cuisine, activities related to the farm depending on the season, for example, making sweet potato noodles or wine from grapes grown on farm. The farm settles 300h so there is a lot of to do.
The most important thing is that contact with nature and staying on the farm allows you to get to know the culture and history of China, traditional methods of cultivation and breeding used in old times, try the famous Sichuan cuisine and stay with people who make one big family here
