Tiger Leaping Gorge – one of the top ten classic hiking routes in the world and a popular destination for hiking and outdoor enthusiasts worldwide. To the left is the Haba Snow Mountain, while to the right is the Jade Dragon Thirteen Peaks, with the turbulent Jinsha River at its feet. This place is like a natural barrier. Walking through it, looking up at the snow capped mountains, you can also go down to Zhonghu Jump and feel the surging of the Jinsha River up close.
Reasons to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge in winter:
1. The weather is stable and sunny, with a high probability of seeing sunlight entering the mountains;
2. Compared to other seasons, there are fewer people during this period, and the hiking experience is better;
3. The transportation cost is reasonable. Taking Chengdu as an example, the round-trip flight to Lijiang is around 800 yuan.
