About the School

Founded in 2009, Léman International School Chengdu (LIS) is the premier international school in southwestern China. Located in the Tianfu New Area of Chengdu, the purpose-built 50-acre (20-hectare) campus offers a world-class learning environment with a capacity for approximately 1,000 students.

Serving students from Pre-Nursery to Year 13, LIS provides an inspiring education supported by exceptional facilities. In our Early Years programme, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, fostering a strong foundation for young learners. In Primary School, we integrate the English National Curriculum for English and Mathematics with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), offering a well-rounded and globally relevant education. For Secondary School, LIS is an authorized provider of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), ensuring students are well-prepared for academic success and global opportunities.
