2017 is coming to an end and it’s time to celebrate the people, places and communities that make living in Chengdu so great.
The Chengdu-Expat Awards came back this year for the second time. Open nominations were held from December 1st and closed midnight Thursday 7th December. After receiving over 600 nominations, voting is now open and will be open until midnight Thursday 14th December.

To celebrate everyone in the city, and everyone who took part, the 2017 awards party will be a night of great people, great drinks, live music at the Oakwood Funder Residence Chengdu.
Live Music
Allen Clayton, a Chengdu favourite and nominee for Chendgo-er of the year will play a set.
Nightshift – One of Chengdu’s favourite live band will be playing. Strap on your dancing shoes
Great Drinks
All tickets include 2 selected drinks from Duvel and CHEERS – and after that The Oakwood will provide special deals to help you celebrate the year coming to an end in Chengdu.

Cocktail, lounge suit or evening wear. Whatever you feel comfortable with. This is Chengdu – we do things our own way.
