About Tagong:
Tagong is also called “Lhagang”，situated in the ancient Kham region, at an altitude of 3,700m, it is one of the highest towns in the world, offering an unfettered window into the Tibetan people and culture.
It is home of beautiful grasslands, devoted monks and Tibetan nomads with their thick-coated yaks. With the magnificent Golden Padoga and the majestic Mount Yala(5,820m), it is truly one of the most beautiful places to visit.
About Bamei:
Bamei is a place rarely mentioned in western travel guides, hence rarely visited by foreigners and tourists in general .
Bamei is absolutely unspoiled gem, almost no tourists visit the area, so most likely we will be there alone, free to explore Huiyuan Gompa and the former residence of the 7th Dalai Lama.
About Xindu Bridge:
Famous for the title of the paradise of photo shooting, it owns perfect transition of the lights, thus then you can capture different views almost every second.
Day 1
08:00—12:30 Start our trip from Chengdu to Kangding(5.5h，306km).
12:30—13:30 Lunch at Luding.
13:30—15:00 Arrive at Kangding, adapt to the cooler weather and higher altitude.
15:30—18:00 Head to the natural and wild hot spring spot in Kangding, which is the one and only naturally-formed mineral hotspring in Kangding only known by the locals. We can wash out our exhaustion, enjoy the hot bath while the mountains and forest view being a feast to your eyes after the long journey.
18:00—22:00 Dine at the locals and enjoy your authentic dinner made by local Tibetans. Wander around the villages and enjoy a bonfire party afterward. Try the grilled mashmallows and take part in a spiritual experienment called What’s The Difference before bed.
Day 2
8:00 Breakfast.
8:30 Head to Tagong grassland(2.5h，96km).
11:00—12:00 Lunch at Tagong, enjoy the special delicious food which is beyond comparison. Oh and dont forget to try the Sichuan style french fried which Gil spoke very highly of last time.
12:00-14:00 Arrive at Damuya Temple(15mins，8.7km). This temple doesn’t make it onto most day trippers’ agendas, it is hidden on the further serene Tagong grassland. It is the spiritual and religious symbol for the locals and still stayed unspoiled and archaic，yet keeps its unique character.
14:00-17:00 Head to Bamei (40mins 34km). Throw yourself in a taste for the mystical, and Bamei would be a perfect place to seek enlightenment. Keep itself away from the tourists, Bamei valley is hard to be found without assitance of the locals.This obscure and archaic-looking religion has produced one of the most enlightened cultureson earth.The view is stunning, and cultural and religious stories are ripe for picking everywhere.
17:00-18:00 Head to Xinduqiao(1h，68km).
18:30-19:30 Check-in and dinner.
20:00－22:00 Forest party under the starry night.
Day 3
09:00 Wake up and chill in the town.
10:00 Hit the road back to Chengdu(6.5h, 369km), and approximately arrive Chengdu around 19:00.
Note: Small adjusts could occure accordingly to weather. The group guides reserve the right to make adjustments basing on actual situation.
