The Parent Workshop:
The Parent workshop programme plays an essential role in connecting school and Léman families in supporting students on their right way to success. We’ve already successfully hosted 6 parent workshops plus 2 webinars in Term 1. The topics cover pastoral services, attachment in early years, MAP testing, university application, positive parenting to CAS programme, maths and a parents’ guide to bullying. We would like to thank all the parents’ active participation and feedbacks.
How we teach in primary:
As we enter Term 2, we would like to invite parents or your friends in the community to join our Deputy Head of Primary Mr. Robert Dolan for the parent workshop at 2pm on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023.
Mr. Dolan will discuss how we teach students in primary school and how students will learn and progress. Mr. Dolan has been working in primary education for more than 10 years. He has constantly strived to create a nurturing learning environment where his students feel confident to explore new topics and are inspired to develop their knowledge. Before joining LIS, he served at the British International School Nanjing as the Assistant Head of Primary for four years.
We encourage our parents to actively participate in the parent workshop to promote growth together!
