Hehuachi Market 荷花池
As the largest wholesale market in south-west China, this multi purpose close to the North train station offers clothing, shoes, inexpensive housewares, textiles, shoes, accessories, sport goods, arts, crafts, toys, and anything else you can imagine.
Hehuachi is considered as Chengdu’s “offline Taobao”, having tons of clothing options, from traditional Chinese style to more avante-guarde items. WARNING: this is not a small market, so requires some dedication, but they have many women’s, men’s and children’s items.
In fact, you will find over 20,000 different types of products on sale here for a comprehensive, all-round shopping experience. With over 15,000 stalls, this market is the main provider of stock for Chengdu’s smaller shops, a status that is upheld due to its reputation of being cheap. However if you want to pick up a bargain you have to be prepared to work for it. If the products are not clearly priced then it’s safe to presume that bargaining is both expected and required.

A wholesale market in Chengdu that provides a variety of fashion, shirts, clothes, pants and others with good quality and very affordable prices.
This is the wrong location on the map. Stay south of the ring road.
