Initiated 17 years ago in Montpellier, France, the FISE (International Festival of Extreme Sports, Festival International des Sports Extrêmes in French) is one of the biggest events of extreme sports in the world.
It brings together the best international riders in skateboard, roller, BMX, mountain bike and wakeboard, with various competitions in pro and amateur categories.
This 2nd stop of the FWS in Chengdu is the perfect occasion to exchange, support cultural and sport initiatives between France and China, and mor particularly between Montpellier and Chengdu. FISE World has lined up ever bigger show, stronger riders and riding areas better than ever.

FISE国际极限运动会起源于法国，是全球第二大极限运动会，比赛除滑板、BMX、轮滑、山地自行车和尾波滑水以外，还有DJ、极限摩托表演等活动。
去年10月，成都成功举办了首届FISE世界极限运动巡回赛，这是欧洲第一大、世界第二大极限运动赛事。它1997年起源于法国蒙彼利埃市，此前每一届赛事都在该市举行，至今已有17年历史。
去年，FISE世界极限运动巡回赛第一次来到亚洲，来到中国成都，届时将有来自全世界30个国家和地区的90名运动员参赛，其中中国选手9名。运动会将设置BMX小轮车、轮滑、滑板以及自行车坡地赛四个项目。
今年FISE世界极限运动再度选择了成都，而且在去年的滑板、小轮车、轮滑、山地车4个项目基础上增加了水上项目，水上项目的首次引进为本次大赛增添了亮点。这充分说明了成都这座美丽热情，在国内外群体中拥有巨大的影响力和号召力、开放包容的城市，已越来越受到世界的关注。
除了体育竞技精神，极限运动更强调参与性、娱乐性和勇敢精神，以及突破心理障碍时获得的愉悦感和成就感。从2014年起，此项赛事首次开启世界巡回赛，将在法国、安道尔、马来西亚、中国进行4场比赛。
相信FISE在成都的举行将带来更多的激情和活力，让广大极限运动爱好者可以在国内就欣赏这个具挑战、惊险、刺激，集多种运动魅力于一体的体育赛事。
FISE深信，没有“巨星”闪耀的活动都不算好的活动，所以在下个月FISE成都的赛事中，每个比赛项目都邀请到了最好的选手，具体如下：
