ALEX SHI:
Alex Shi is a writer and director from Jilin province who has been a fixture of Beijing’s comedy scene for the last five years. Shi has collaborated with renowned comedians, including Joe Wong and Kavin Jay, and she has been featured on the BBC, CGTN, and Vice. She has worked as a content designer for TikTok, a cross-cultural communication expert for ByteDance, and a local media specialist servicing international organizations such as the Global Center on Adaptation. More recently, she has become known as the “brainless woman” on Instagram after a viral vidoe featuring her appearance.
