Rock climbing is an upward climbing sport on a natural or artificial rock wall and is usually classified as an extreme sport. Rock climbing requires people to continuously complete thrilling actions such as turning, pulling up, moving and even jumping on rock walls of various heights and different angles. It integrates fitness, competition and entertainment, and hence the name “ballet on the cliff”.
Itinerary
08:00 Meet at Exit F, Metro Line 2, East Shuhan Road.
08:00-09:30 Take a van to Guanyindong, Pengzhou. The driving time is about 1.5 hours.
09:30-10:00 The professional coach will give instructions on basic knowledge and safety precautions about rock climbing and we’ll warm up before the climb.
10:00-12:00 Rock climbing time! Start from the relatively easy route and those who complete the simple route can challenge the intermediate and advanced routes according to their own situation in the afternoon.
12:00-13:00 Lunchtime! Please bring your own lunchbox or we can dine at a local farmhouse at your own expense.
13:30-16:30 Continue rock climbing after lunch and you can improve your climbing skills – such as balance, finger strength, footwork by climbing a more difficult route.
16:30-17:30 Explore and enjoy the typical and hidden Karst cave (Experiential cave exploration).
17:30-19:00 Get back to Chengdu.
