Poetic narrations thread through the programme to craft an immersive, fragrant musical gala. The mellow grace of traditional Eastern tones intertwines with lyrical strings; the romance of Qixi converges with the exquisite sophistication of chamber music. On this enchanting night, Aura Trio invites you to rendezvous beneath the stars, embrace heartfelt affection amid melodies, and celebrate this cherished festive occasion together. Founded in 2025, Aura Trio consists of three young Juilliard‑trained performers: Yidi Wang (Flute), Yujie Wang (Viola) and Tongxin Chen (Harp).
The ensemble takes its name “Aura (Bānlán, meaning vibrant hues)” in tribute to its rich, kaleidoscopic tonal palette. The three musicians bonded over music during their studies. United by shared passion and artistic aspirations, they have forged a close friendship, devoting themselves to exploring boundless tonal fusion within chamber music. Since its inception, Aura Trio has maintained a bustling performing schedule.
