Profile
For the last 4 years, the Chengdu Entrepreneurship Meetup has brought business people together every month to listen and learn and connect. ? We’re now focusing in on the issue that you want to talk about with some smaller, more interactive, open table meetups.
These smaller meetups will have around 30 people. They will be community led discussions focused on answering questions on what we need, how can we help each other and how we can build stronger networks.
This Month: Coding [your] Idea. We will explore how learning to code can help you get ahead.
Steve Jobs, Apple’s co-founder said, “I think everybody in this country should learn how to program a computer because it teaches you how to think.”
In an increasingly automated world learning to code has never been more important. Having the basic knowledge of how lines of code create the digital worlds we explore every day is becoming a fundamental digital literacy. Even if you have no plans to become a software developer, spend a few weeks or month learning to code and it will sharpen your ability to troubleshot and solve problems.
The event will focus on:
*how to get started with coding
*how to translate from an idea to a solid plan
*project management/ development)
*how to built it out
*obtained experiences (successes/ failures)
