The solo exhibition by the artist Vincent Cazeneuve presents a series of recent works including the result of exploration on different materials, his complicit links with the environment, nature and the collectors of Chinese lacquer raw materials. Having based in southwestern China for more than ten years to unravel the secret of Chinese lacquerware, a traditional craft, the artist feeds his work with Western and Eastern influences, composite materials and mixed techniques, like so many intertwined narratives.
