Now, the Italian Chef Gianfranco Pirrone has crossed the oceans to hold the Italian Food Festival at Shangri-La Hotel, Chengdu. Born and raised in Sicily, Italy, he gets inspiration from the charming scenery and natural beauty of his hometown. He only cooks with fresh, healthy ingredients and delicately masters the art of seasoning and ancient recipes.
From now until September 28, 2018, the Italian Food Festival at Café Z provides authentic Italian cuisine, in addition to nine open kitchens offering international favorites at Shangri-La Hotel, Chengdu. The Singapore Italian dishes in the buffet line include Risotto zucca e gamberi; Grilled lamb chops with porcini mushroom sauce; Beef tenderloin in gorgonzola cheese sauce etc.
