Departments of Chengdu Municipal Government recently published a Guide to Payment Services for International Visitors in Chengdu, providing instructions on using overseas bank cards, mobile payment, CNY notes, e-CNY and the Chinese bank cards. Information on Ctrip’s currency exchange counter at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, the 19 hotels providing currency exchange services, the 18 pilot banks providing currency exchange in cash, as well as the 157 key bank branches with account opening service for foreigners, are included in the guide.
