• On November 25th, 2020, China’s General Office of the State Council announced the official national holiday schedule for 2021.• As a recap, there are 7 Chinese holidays in China which are New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival (Tomb Sweep), Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day.• Last year some of these dates were altered because of COVID-19, but this should be fixed and help you book a trip for next year

 

January: New Year’s Day

Days off: January 1st to 3rd, 2021.

February: Spring Festival

Days off: February 11th to 17th, 2021.

Adjusted working days: February 7th, 2021 (Sunday), and February 20th, 2021 (Saturday).

April: Qingming Festival

Days off: April 3rd to 5th, 2021.

May: Labor Day

Days off: May 1st to 5th, 2021.

Adjusted working days: April 25th, 2021 (Sunday), and May 8th, 2021 (Saturday).

Dragon Boat Festival

Days off: June 12th to 14th, 2021.

September: Mid-Autumn Festival

Days off: September 19th to 21st, 2021.

Adjusted working day: September 18th, 2021 (Saturday).

October: National Day

Days off: October 1st to 7th, 2021.

Adjusted working days: September 26th, 2021 (Sunday), and October 9th, 2021 (Saturday).
