After three years, it’s finally time for the first Swiss band to tour in China! The Consulate General of Switzerland in Chengdu is honored to invite the Swiss electro-pop band–Sophie de Quay to give our friends in Chengdu their great music and performance. Registration is free, seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis!

About the band
Sophie de Quay is a musical duo with two members, Sophie and Simon. They are multicultural, open-minded and willing to explore… They are the perfect representation of the new generation of bands. Sophie and Simon both studied Chinese at Shanghai Jiaotong University and occasionally sing in Chinese. They present a kind of electro-pop music with their own unique style, incorporating elements of music from all over the world. Sophie was born in Switzerland, grew up in Singapore and New York, and studied further in Geneva, Paris and Shanghai. She is passionate about people from different regions and their respective different ways of life. From Switzerland to Lebanon, Spain, to China, Japan, India and Singapore. In just 5 years, the CP duo has performed nearly 250 concerts in 15 different countries and regions.
